Believe me,
behind every word
that rhymes
and behind every poems
that she writes
is a girl trying to escape
from the evils inside her head.
A girl trying to win her battle
with demons every night.
Trying to win over the reasons
why she’s crying at night.
Because she believed
that writing will save her.
She hopes that writing
can still save her.

waving the flag of defeat.
