To The Girl Who's Still Moving On,

It’s been what? Months? Years? It doesn’t matter. Really.

You’re still on the process of healing and that’s fine.

Take your time.

Take all the the time that you need.

Savor every minute of it. There’s nothing wrong with that.

Cry if you want.

Scream.

Listen to every sad song that you have on your playlist.

Until there will be no more tears falling.

After that, get up.

Pull yourself together.

And please, don’t you ever think that you’ll forever be stuck in that situation.

Trust me, you won’t.

You are stronger than you know.

Baby girl, you have the capability to turn things around and make them in your favor.

Yup, you’re a mess. But a beautiful kind of it.

Who says it has to be pixie dusts and glitters?

Ruins and debris can create majestic things, too.

One day, you will be able to smile like nothing happened.

You will be able to hear his name without hearing your heart shattering into little pieces.

You will be able to tell your friends why it didn't work without shedding tears.

You will be able to sleep soundly at night, even without hearing him murmuring his good night.

You will be able to wake up every morning happy, even without seeing his sleeping face.

Slowly, you will let go of the memories and the promises that you thought you'll forever hold onto.

You will learn to live your life without him. Again.

The scariest and the hardest part of loving... is letting go.

Especially when you just cannot throw and bury every single thing.

I know. I've been there.

But trust me, you'll manage.

You'll survive.

You'll find love again.

Someone will come.

He will make you smile and laugh again.

He will bring out the butterflies that you thought were gone inside your stomach.

Someone will come to tell you that it's worth it.

That there's nothing to be afraid of.

And when that happens, I hope you allow yourself to fall in love again.

Because if there is one person who deserves to be happy,

it's you.
