I still remember that day
When she was just a touch away
I had tried earlier too
But never got any chance to live that moment or pass this one too.
She was still busy studying
And my life was based on get busy living, or get busy dying
She always asked me for any help
And looked at me like a lion`s whelp
I was always there to help her altogether
And whenever I needed her, she never seemed to bother
I just wish to talk to her again like the other day
But the coincident that happened didn’t happen today
I somehow gathered the courage to talk to her anyway
And rang her up to meet me by any means today
She refused to meet me up today
As she was busy studying for exams far away
The exams were always a trouble for me
But always got through them like a crocodile in a sea
We could have been happy together
But she was looking for someone different altogether
So, now I just lay on my bed for this night to pass away
And just wish to get over her and never meet her again by anyway
I loved her like moonlight is for a moon
But I think my life was on the dark side of the moon
We all have that one wish to fulfill
But never have the courage to perform it`s kill
We always fall for things that could never be ours
But we wish to smoke the same one for hours
Although the smoke burns through our heart
And the target we aim is always missed by the dart
Let’s just fade away into the world of darkness
And let all of us roam around into the wilderness
The world is a dark place for people like us
And it gets darker whenever we try to reach a brighter side of us
I thought a bit of courage could turn her to opposite side
But it all ended in I facing a raging tide
