He is like a crazy man laughing under the pouring rain as he left out a series of laughter to avoid screaming due to the intoxicating thoughts in his mind. He needs to kill before he kills himself. So, as he is walking to find a prey, he started singing the song Perfect by Ed Sheeran to make him calm. Like broken pieces of piano, his voice is hoarse because of days without drinking. All he needs right now is someone to kill. Someone to satisfy the need of a killer lost in a barren land.
Looking around the hopeless city he’s in, he saw an odd building he never saw before. Carefully, he walked inside, trying to sense if there is danger ahead. But his doubts were proven true when he saw the bloody hallway. He is used to the smell and sight of blood but a room full of blood is something he had never seen before.
He was about to go out, but what caught his attention is an old woman staring blankly at the sky, even when it’s raining, it feels like the woman is looking at a thousand stars – she looks so peaceful, so serene. His needs prevailed, he held his knife that he will use to kill his prey.
The woman on the other hand, faced the man and flashed a mischievous grin. She asked the man, “Do you know the difference between us?”
The man remained silent, and then bang! He was shot by the old woman straight to the heart.
“The difference is that you are a hunter that needs to hunt their prey, while, I am a trap silently waiting for my next victim.”
Slowly, the woman walks towards the man like an eerie being, and then, she started devouring the man, like a feisty monster released in its cage.
