Unintentional Delusions

I met you during spring,
And for once I felt a zing.
You grew into my heart,
And for once i knew you were
my missing part

Summer came,
thus I learned your name.
It was melody to my ears,
A charm for my fears.

Days continue to pass by,
Yet my love for you won't die.
For you were my everything.
For you I'll give up anything.

Fall was the birth of our love,
Finally I had what I always wanted to have.
Days with you felt shorter,
Even so I'll treasure them forever.

Our love gave warmth for winter,
A chance to spend our days together.
Chances like this are hard to find,
So I'll enjoy it and paint it into my mind.

And that's only if I could.
For this dreams I have could only
be etched in wood.
Nothing was real,
Even what you feel.

For you had other intentions.
Leaving me with my unintentional delusions.
