The sun had already set,
Stars appeard as the night started
A cold crisp wind blew
As he struggle to think things through
About a boy that he once knew

Sitting on the roof
Looking at the distance of space
His mind floating with the proof of dismay
As he wondered about that day
A boy full of hope and faith

He used to be positive
So cheerful, so bright
A boy who is proactive
Who used to think everything is gonna be alright
Even at times, when doubts decided to strike

But he had no idea what the future holds...
That one day, everything he believes slowly fades

Day by day
He was becoming exhausted
Walking alone, with the crowd of faces
His mind is slowly becoming complicated
As he thinks what he was doing to himself

As time goes by
The feeling of emptiness is spreading rapidly
Inside his heart, he was so lonely
He didn't know what to do
But somehow he knew.
He was in that phase of knowing but not doing
The phase where he want to do something but he doesn't

One day, it happened
There, he lay on the bed
Thinking when will it end
He was so tired to get up
He was so tired thinking things that will not happen
So tired of being positive, when he wasn't
At least not anymore

How can he be positive and bright
When all is a mess of pieces crashing down in his mind
He felt his dreams has shattered aside

Even after all that, he still wanted to fly
As he look up at the sky
He dream to be someone free
Free from everything and from his mind
He knew that he will find happiness
But when...

Until then, he will continue to fight his own demons
Until then, he will continue his journey of this long road
Until then,
When he became whole again
