I saw it again. The perfect structure of your face. Your eyes, the pointed nose, those soft, red lips, your complimented jaw, your black neatly comb hair and your brown skin that is always be the same.
You don't know how I badly missed you. Those hugs and excited greetings. Your laugh that gives music to many. Your smile that can brighten anyones gloomy day.
Your voice? It's such a beautiful sound. I mean, the most beautiful sound I heard when we are alone. And your favorite white dress, you're wearing it again.
I missed your jokes. I missed the way you called me 'o-legged'. I missed the way you talk to us. To your friends and to your bestfriend, me.
I missed how you told me about your boy crushes. I missed those times when I first met you in the fourth grade.
I missed you.
But I don't anymore. Because right now, I am standing behind you. You don't know yet, of course. I'm planning to surprise you. Just like the old days.
I took a step forward, smiling, excited, finally, I will be with my bestfriend again.
I took another step. One by one, nearer and nearer.
But to my surprise, you turn around. I was going to hug you but I do not felt any body in front of me. No one stops me. I turned to you, you're still there. But you're not looking at me. I can only see your back, just like earlier.
This time, your shoulder began to shake, up and down, are you laughing? Is this some kind of your pranks?
"I'll miss you, Marie. I always will." And an endless sobs follow. What are you talking about?
I turn around, once again, turning my direction opposite to hers. There I saw it. Lying on the healthy green grass, was my name, written inside a black marble. And words that made me realized something.
