Way to heaven

Info

Once  there was a hopeless monk.
Dirty, shabby, barefooted, wandering in a rarely fed growling belly, in hope to leave for heaven, ready to tread with his every next step, if ever he gets the chance to leave this sinful place.... With his cracked heels ,dim visions, slickened grey locks, waving freezily like greasy bush hordes..
And why shouldn't he?.. With this aim of his, he gracefully wasted the blissful phase of his youth, the calm edges of his middies and now standing in his shedding autumn.. Neither do his lousy eyesight ever caught hold of his dearest kilns and pals nor does his heedless memory reminded him of his worldly rows which he left behind..
Now they were brimmed in enchantment of heaven calls and cemented in the mould of a vagabond seeking enlightenment...

At first he went steady and sound, then worldly thoughts tickled his human ends, but the stiff man went straight ahead, shedding off the skin of desire, love and lust which he ever entailed.. Slowly he sank in the hope so vague and crawled in an attire, forever plagued..

" find out the light, bask in the light, engulf in the light", his mind reiterated, his head pounced faster again and his path forever fluctuated, leaving him inquisitive.
Now, his myopic eyes efforted to trace light in every dim street, in every hueless footprints, in the faded countours, in the huge gloomy woods retiring its rugged cores, his sick head asking him to dig deep and deeper, even in the lifeless earthy hollows so much that he lost hope..
Now his eyes distanced him from lights, his skin shivering in a day so bright, his locks itched even in bun so tight.
"Heaven" now for him was some gloomy abode, seated far beyond , shrouded in the thick dusty bushes, in the complexity of some anonymous woods, where even life is lifeless, hope is hopeless, all stoned in a threatening silence.
In this way, he moved ahead, with heavy steps, lost and miles away from what he chose for, in a different path with his spinning head, confused conscience and intuition suspended.

Reluctantly, he hit a munchkin, half his size, hardly reaching to his crotch, dressed in a shabby mustard T shirt and pants hardly covering his knees, torn from the left, his pale skin closely peeping through the bare ends , apparently showing that the boy outgrew the pants.

"Oh you awful kid! Couldn't you see me? " Said the monk ..
"How can I ? Even you couldn't see your way in this darkness, can you? " Replied the boy
" What are you looking for? " Boy asked further with that uncanny voice not so common for his age
With utter pride, the monk grinned with his pale yellow corroded teeth and jumped in further to reply , " I look for heaven, if there is any."
" What's that dreaded thing which is found in darkness ",Said the boy..
"You won't know", Said the monk

"I don't want to and even you won't find it wandering like this in dark ",Said the boy, " Darkness won't find you anything, not even your quirky heaven, find it in light, through brightness. From next time, you better stop finding things in dark or you won't stop running into people like me."
" Why do we wander in darkness if there is light. It's always the light that leads us and not the dark.

Why do we even consider choosing dark over light, isn't it foolishness?" the boy muttered, innocently  with the weirdest kind of callouness attached while he left. The old monk stood there, still like a plain white sheet , recollecting himself back to move again ( this time in light).

He still didn't know the way to heaven but now he knew, which way to walk..
