Info

Is Australia Immigration stuck in your mind? Thinking of migrating to the beautiful world of picturesque landscapes in 2020? Then, it is obvious that you might be thinking how the Australia Immigration PR Points Calculator works in 2020. Isn’t it true?

Well, this continent follows a point-based system to assess the eligibility of a skilled worker who dreams of becoming a permanent resident of the Kangaroo Land. So, if you want to apply, all you need to score is a minimum of 65 points under the skill select for visa subclass 189 and 190.

Always keep in mind, that 65 points is the minimum requirement, however, it’s no harm to score higher than that, as higher the scores, higher will be your chances to receive the Invitation to Apply (ITA) for the PR Visa Card. For example, if you score 80-85 points in the Australia Immigration Points Calculator, then you’ll be invited sooner.

Now, you might be eager to know “How are the Eligibility Points Calculated in 2020?”

There are certain parameters depending on which your scores are calculated such as:

1. Age Factor

Your age can help you score 30 marks. Well, if you’re applying between the age group of 25-32 years, you can grab 30 scores easily without any worries. On the other hand if you’re applying between 18-24 years and 33-39 years, you get 25 marks. Candidate who applies in between 40-44 years gets a score of 15.

Note: You cannot apply under the skill select if you’re elder than 44 years.

2. Efficiency in English Language

Well, being efficient in English can help you amp up your scores with 20 points. However, for this you need to be superior in English by scoring 8 or more bands in all the four abilities such as reading, writing, listening and speaking. Also you can appear for other tests also such as

• TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign language, internet-based test)

• CAE (Certificate in Advanced English)

• PTE (Pearson Tests of English)

• OET (Occupational English Test)

3. Employment Inside or Outside the Australian Borders

Having a relevant work experience either in the Kangaroo land or outside is a major factor that can help you score high in the immigration points calculator. Always keep in mind that more the years of relevant work experience, higher will be your score and higher will be your chances to get an invitation for the PR Visa Card.

4. Academic Qualifications

Being educated enough can help you ace up your over all score with a maximum of 20 points. Keep in mind that higher the level of education, higher will be your points in the calculator. So, if you want to give a major hike to your scores, attain more education, either a degree or a diploma, so that the whole process can become a cakewalk for you.

5. Partner Skills

If your spouse or common-law partner is also applying for the visa, you can get a hike of 10 points in your overall score card. Moreover, If your spouse is competent in English, then you can gain 5 more.
