There were things he wanted to tell her
But he was scared from losing her
There were things she was dying to say to him
But she was afraid to let him in her life
So they sewed their mouth shut and buried it away
He didn't see her today.
Each time he tries so hard to forget her; something reminds him of how much he has missed her. He always finds his solace in being alone. In fact, he thinks that he doesn’t feel lonely at all because it’s just himself and his surroundings. And when there are other people around him. That when he starts to feel lonely. He tried so desperately to socialize with them and connect with them. But each time he did that, they reminded him of how lonely he is. He likes to be by himself; he doesn’t find it painful to be alone. But not with her; he doesn’t has an explanation or words to express the feelings when he talks with her and feels so completely in with her. To him she seemed so beautiful, so different from ordinary people he could not understand why no one was as disturbed as he by the light shining in her eyes. Why no one else’s heart was not touched as he by the laughter on her face. No matter how he tried to push her away, she always finds its way back to his heart and fall in her over and over again.
He was afraid, so afraid to destroy her happiness by letting her into his life because he has a wounded past. A past he made sure no one would never know of it because it reveals his true side he managed to hide it form anyone who tries to enter his life.
So he can’t approach and dare to tell her all his secrets and feelings for the fear he would lose her. He was terrified about how she is so talented at turning her emotions on and off. How can she be so kind and loving one moment then cold ice the next. And his solution was to stay better off friends till a moment come and wash it all away their memories and each one will be on his/her own path.
HE kept lying to himself he would not take a next step in his relationship with her; but each time he saw her, he found it hard to keep his promise.
She didn’t see him today either.
She doesn’t know why she keeps looking for him when he is not around. She made sure that she doesn’t look for him obviously in front of the people but deep down she always feel sad when she can’t find him with his friends.
She is funny and beautiful to everyone she knows but she keeps her distance among people who tried to enter her life. But not with him.
She doesn’t know why this particular person is the one whom she can be open up to him more than other people. She keeps telling herself that it’s wrong to have him in her life, but each time she sees him; it grieves her heart so much that he need to be fixed and she knows that she is the only one who can mend his wounds long enough to stand up and face his fears on his own.
She is afraid that if she stays with him much longer, she might fall for him and that’s exactly what she doesn’t want in her life. She has unknown reasons why she is doing that but all she knows that she can’t move on with her life without talking to him or at least watch him over the days without him knowing.
