WHY ME..?

"Where did i go wrong ?"
"What was my mistake ?"
"Why have we become like this ?"

These are the questions which he asks himself but everytime fails to get any satisfactory answer to them.

"Did i do something terrible of which i'm not aware of ?
"Did i hurt you so bad ?"
"Or it was my love for you which ruined everything between us ?"

He's confused.
People say nowadays it's rare to find a pure lover, but what do you do when you find someone who finds his happiness in yours..? Who is ready to sacrifice his happiness ,his time, his everything, even of what he's not capable of ?
You say you like him but then you're really scared.
You aren't ready for anything.
But yet he's waiting, waiting for you even in the darkness surrounding him every night in fear of losing you, even if he's lost in darkness, he lost himself but decides to hold on.
Holding on to nothing with every piece of his broken heart he waits.
He waits until he found himself abandoned.

"I never told you to wait for me"
"I'll never date you"
"I don't like you anymore"
"You are not even my best friend now"

He lost himself in an dimension of doom.

"What did i do ?"
"What was my mistake ?"

He's speechless.
All he ever wanted to do is take care of her.
Be the reason for her happiness.
Protect her.
But it was too much for her, she didn't liked it.
He still loves her with every broken piece of him.
She didn't like it yet he waits for her, until the day came when he saw his love with someone else, laughing, loving and spending time with her guy.
He's speechless again.
He stood staring at her beautiful smile with a tear rolling down his cheeks still smiling and looking at her smile.

Nobody knew what was going on inside of him. A disaster would fall short for describing how the hurricane of emotions left him feeling inside, washing away his joy. The happiness inside of him faded away all at once. Not able to speak a word or even move a muscle, lost in despair and agony as if his soul has been sucked out of him, leaving him lifeless. He had no idea what was to be done now other than seeing his dreams shatter in front of him and to which he can only stare and do nothing. Yet you see how pure his love is standing there alone shattered he smiles and let her have her happiness though her love is not even thinking of him.
Only two words escapes out of his mouth in a slow and a broken voice...

"Why me.? "
