I saw a dead body pass by on the street the other day
It felt bad for i know the pain of losing someone dear
Putting my fingers on my heart, I made a wish
My buddies looked at me with flummoxed eyes
Why is that weird?
Don't we wish upon the shooting star?
Shooting star which died years ago
How does it make our wishes come to life?
Death cannot be a beginning of a desire
Isn't it an end, the inevitable end
No escape no dodging
It comes and gets all that you love
What do you do, cripple and cry
For you are devastated and there is no solace
But think of the star in the moment of loss
Would you not wish upon it, had it been a 'dead' shooting star
You can still wish, wish upon the body of dead
Wish for strength to not cry
Wish for strength to keep them alive
Keep them alive in thoughts and actions and never let them die
Wish upon them as if they are shooting stars
Bright and glittering going somewhere peaceful and far
