There was a girl named Chloe Syrrenittie. A miserable, depressed, lonely, quiet and anxious girl. Her family is a mess. Her father is abusive and a drug user, her mother is a gambler and her brother is a drunkard.
As she was passing through the corridors, rushing to her classroom, she accidentally bumped into Matt Gabriel , the famous good-looking guy in the campus. She was teased and laughed at. Chloe immediately locked herself in the comfort room till the classes were over. Matt waited for her so he could apologize. As Matt saw Chloe, he immediately approached her. Matt asked Chloe if he could take her home but she insisted. Chloe still wants to go to the seashore and watch the sunset. Matt goes with her. They sat and enjoyed the peaceful and wonderful view. That's the beginning of their friendship. They became the best of friends.
Matt didn't know that Chloe was currently having an anxiety disorder. She was having panic attacks. She even slit her own wrist enough for her to see the flow of the blood. As time pass by, Matt's friends bully Chloe and her condition got worse
One day, Matt caught Chloe cutting herself. Blood were dripping on the floor. Matt was shocked. He immediately rushed Chloe to the hospital. Sadness, anger, guilt, these are all he felt. Questions suddenly keep on crashing in his mind. He was sad because he wasn't there with her when she was down. He was angry at her because she never opened up to him about her condition. He was guilty because he hadn't fulfilled his role and his responsibility as her best friend. But above all, he was hoping. He was hoping that the Father Most High would forgive her. He was hoping that He could give Chloe another chance to live. He prayed and prayed.
The doctor called him and thank God she was saved. The doctor gave him a piece of advice. After that, when they got home, Matt never asked about her condition. Instead, Matt did his very best to make her happy and to make her feel that she isn't lonely anymore. Matt then realized that he was having a feeling for Chloe. Something that is more than friendship. Matt couldn't take it anymore, he then confess the truth to Chloe. He thought that there was a chance for them to be more than best friends.
"Ahm, Chloe? I have to tell you something"
"What is it Matt?"
"I never expected this to happen. Chloe, I , I have this different feeling for you"
"Oh, so you don't want to be friends with me anymore because I think differently? Because I am pessimistic?"
"No, it's not like that."
"Yes, it is!"
"Chloe, I think I'm in love with you!"
"What?"
"Chloe, I love you"
"Matt, this is not the time for jokes"
"But Chloe, Im serious!"
"Matt, I'm sorry. But i couldn't give you what you wanted. I love you, but not the way you love me. "
Matt felt dismay. He was shocked and disappointed.He was sad.
"It's okay, now that you know, can we still be best friends and act like I never said that? I still want to take care of you"
"Sure, Matt."
Although he wasn't expecting this to happen, he never gave up on her. He still took care of her despite being rejected. He believes that love is greater than anger and sadness.
But, Matt didn't know that Chloe only said that she doesn't love him the way he loves her because she don't want Matt to suffer more when she's gone. Yes, she do love Matt. She fell in love with Matt when they became best friends. But she knew that this feeling is wrong. She planned her death. She planned for a suicide. And she tried her best to put a stop on her feelings for him, but it was never enough.
Chloe wrote her plans on her diary. She wrote there the exact date and place. It will be on February 18, 2016. It will be on her birthday at the rooftop of their building where she lives. For her , it is the perfect plan. On that day, she will be free. She will be happy and she will forget all the pain and sorrow. She will not feel that she doesn't belong anymore. She will then feel contentment.
As time pass by, the day that Chloe awaited has come. The day when all her sorrows and her burdens will finally disappear. Chloe didn't know that the day before her birthday , Matt sneaked in her room. He was planning to surprise her. When he was measuring some parts of Chloe's room, a notebook fell. It's Chloe's diary. He read it. He was shocked and sad but a bit happy. He finally knew that Chloe loves him too but he was sad that his effort on making her happy again and change the way she thinks wasn't enough. Instead of planning for a surprise , he plans to rescue her.
Matt called the ambulance and the police. He made plans with them, he told them the time and the place. The plan is that the police will have something down that building that would catch her. That would save her.
February 18, 2016 at 5 pm, Chloe left a note in her bedroom and went to the rooftop. Matt followed secretly.
Chloe stands at the edge, she tries to feel the wind, the noises, the gravity. She flashed back in her mind the happy memories she had with Matt. All those laughs, jokes, tears , and time they spent together. She was thankful that she has Matt in her life. She was about to jump when suddenly,...
"Chloe, wait!"
"Matt? Why are you here?"
"Please, Chloe, I beg you"
"I love you Matt, but you can't stop me. It's too late. I have..."
"hush baby, I know everything. I'm sorry i read your diary. But baby, please don't do this?"
"Oh, It's okay, but Matt, I need to do this. This is my freedom"
"If that's what you want, then I'm coming with you. Let's jump together"
"No, there are a lot of people there who loves you and who are dying to feel the love that you gave me. There is someone out there, Matt. Someone that deserves you. People care about you. You belong in this world, Matt. They will be sad if you'll die too. You still have a long journey and I don't want to ruin it. Soon, you will have a family and you will forget me"
"If i let you go, then there's no reason for me to stay here anymore. You are more important to me than them. I love you so much Chloe and i don't wanna lose you. So please, if you won't stop this, then let me come with you. Dying with you is better than living without you. You are my world , Chloe. How would I live without my world? We'll do this together"
"But , Matt..."
"Chloe, please."
Matt went beside Chloe and held her hand.
"I love you Matt"
"I love you more Chloe"

"Are we dead?"-Chloe
"hahaha , no baby . Remember when I told you I've read your diary? I planned this"
"how could... oh, so that's why you aren't afraid of jumping. Why'd you do this?"
"That "someone" that you said earlier who deserves my love is you. We will still have a family. And do you think i would let us die at this age? oh come on, we still have to work on many memories. And don't say no, you've already said you love me so there's no backing out. okay, baby?"
"You know what? You're clever and mysterious sometimes, and that's why I fell in love with you"
"haha I love you the most baby "
"Thank you, Matt. For saving my life , and, and for loving me."
"Chloe, I have a question"
"What is it?"
Matt kneels
"Chloe, Will you marry me?
"are you serious?!"
"of course "
"YES! I do! I will marry you!"
"really? Thank you baby! I love you! I'm so happy! The jumping is really worth it even though i'm afraid of heights"
"wait, you're afraid of heights? How come i never know this."

Matt went to the policemen and to others who helped. He thanked them and gave them a huge smile. They all clapped.
8 months after, they got married and start a family. And they both live happily ever after.
Love is sacrifice. Love isn't about the appearance or the popularity. Love is acceptance. Accepting and loving every flaws they have. Love conquers everything. It can make you change for the better. Love is never giving up no matter how hard the situation is. It is something that might get a bit risky but will have a beautiful end. Love will never fail. Many are asking ,"How will you know if it's true?" Well, for me, you will know that it's true if you will have the chance to face your greatest fears just for the person you love. You will never be afraid of dying. Love knows no limits. Love knows no end.
