World: Not fair

How I wish the world is fair

Where you could love someone and they would love you back

With the same intensity and passion

Where you can find comfort to the person you had just given one

Where they can forgive as much as you’ve forgiven them

Where they would choose you like you have always chosen them

May it be in a storm, high waters, or hell

You know you would always choose them

You know you’d rather be with them in catastrophe

Than safely tucked in your blanket by yourself

But that is not how it works

We live in a world where hurt is constant as if it was a necessity to live

Where you love fearfully because you know for sure they don’t love you back the way you do

Where there wasn’t enough comfort to be shared

Where you can choose them as much as you can

But still it won’t be enough

After all of the strength you’ve rendered to hold up

And all the love you’ve given away

The changes you have done to yourself to comply

Just won’t be enough
