You don't have to believe him just because he claims that he loves you.
He can tell you all the things you dreamt of hearing from your prince charming and not mean it.
He can tell you you're as beautiful as his favourite actress or that you smell as good as his favourite dish.
He'll tell you you're an angel that fell from heaven, but so was Lucifer.
He'll make you feel like a queen without knowing you're just one of his many other.
He'll send you flowers and chocolates you'll be taking photos of and posting on social media, tagging him, telling the world how much you love him.
Of course, he'll reply in the comments with "Anything for my love" which will send you floating high up in the air - as high as your hopes are on the two of you actually ending up together and spending the rest of your lives happy and in love.
Just because he said he loves you,
no matter how sincere ...
does not mean you have to believe him.
