I stare at you from nothingness,
Wondering why has time made you rust in the quiet.
I look at you from afar,
Yet only a deep sigh of ambiguity is all I could hear.
You are a lost soul left to be found.
A young heart scarred by too many lies.
Life must have treated you unkind,
To have you wither amidst the nurturing sunshine.
I can tell you used to be as vibrant as the day,
Your smile and laughs were never surreal.
I saw you danced in the spirit of raging storms,
Gliding on the beat of your own bliss.
But those were only memories buried from the past,
A remnant of who you used to be.
The world has depleted your dauntless beauty,
Its cold heart made you drown on your own stream.
I stare at you from nothingness,
Praying to God to give you back the zeal that was lost.
To see you ablaze like the torching heat of the sun,
Passionate again for what you have already begun.
I look at you from afar,
And I realize you’re only a reflection of what this heart has been singing.
You stayed for love, and you left for love. How do I confront this paradox? For a second we were so
