Well I don't want to blame all men out there coz there are many of them who do respect women and treat them the way they deserve to be treated. Yet there is always the other side of the coin, there are​ lotta men out there who just gaze at a girl like she's a whore out there walking like she's calling you to sleep all over her. Her dress is short, she moves around with many men, she boozes, she smokes, so all of this means she's a easy go girl or does that mean she is asking for it ? No she isn't , that's her way of a living, a strong independent women who earns her living and treats everyone equally unlike many of them out there.
Everyday you get to hear about tens or​ odd number of rape cases. Girl was raped by her father, her uncle, her colleague, her brother, her boyfriend or a random stranger in the streets. Yet she remains silent coz her mom or the so called relatives asked her to be quite. Why ? Coz the society would judge her and blame her for everything. It isn't about how she would lead her life , it is all about Who would wanna marry her knowing that she is a rape victim or Will the husband still stand along with her knowing about all of it ? None obviously, there ain't any brave men out there who would accept her, thinking that it isn't her mistake after all. But there are lotta men out there who would wanna just fuck around with any hot girl they see. She faces it all everyday, all alone. Even though she is wearing a short dress or a salwar kameez or a 6meters long saree or a school uniform or a burkah over her dress. Irrespective of her dress, she gets to hear all sort of vague comments and the weird stares at her boobs and butt like she's a masterpiece of art waiting to be used.
Just when a girl has undergone a rape scene she obviously isn't in a state to talk about it openly. But still hundreds of questions are smacked at her face when she tries to stand for her justice. All that mental trauma she undergoes, the physical pain, who even cares about it ? How cruel can people get ? In this era where it takes 5 whole years for the judiciary to sentence the accused to death , how can a victim even expect justice ?
There are times when the victim is left all wounded and ripped off to just die like that, yea obviously their needs are fulfilled so who cares if she dies or lives. How long is this going to go on ? Whom do we blame it all on ? The girl who wore short dress, or the girl who walked around freely with her colleagues, or the girl who boozed until she lost her senses, or the men who couldn't control their desire, or the society for not having strict judiciary? This question still remains unanswered. Unless people take the initiative to correct themselves in every kind possible.
Will this world ever be a safer place for women? Can a girl traveling in her cab at 1:00.p.m have all the assurance that the driver wouldn't molest her? Can a girl who walked into the pub in short dress with a bunch of men be sure that she can walk out of there safely without anyone around misusing her high state? Can a girl feel safe beside her boyfriend? Worst cases can she feel safe around in the house she lives with her father, uncle's and brother ?

Again I am not blaming any one in particular here. Just trying to state a fact, wherein this is a major issue in the present scenario which need a lot of attention to deal with it and get rid of it.

Just a question to end it with. When is all of this going to end ?
