Life and Good Byes

Good byes have always been difficult to me,

They make me sad, they make me cry,

N sometimes shatter me into pieces,

but just not let me die.

Those who are meant to leave

will leave

The body will leave,

The soul will leave,

What remains is

their memories and a feeling.

They give nothing but hope,

the hope—

is strong enough to make you keep waiting—

for days and for years and for the bloody whole life,

Get married, have children but that’s not enough.

The memories will always be with you

as a second wife.

They say men don’t cry

either I am not a man or they tell a lie.

Emotions are a part of your soul,

after every goodbye

they play an important role

The tears help you

express them

They help you make your soul

New again

Rise again

Live again

The heart is a passenger train

It has halts at each and every station.

People come, stay

and leave the train at their destinations

Life goes on and

so does the train

No hard feelings

It’s a mutual gain.

The train wishes a luck to their passengers

Hope they find their ways through life

It has its own journey to make

But the gates are always open for ‘you’

The passengers, old or the new.
