She and Him

"Have you eaten?" she didn't answer but she stares at him

He smiled bitterly, placed the spoon and fork on each of her hands.

"Let's eat" he smiled warmly, but his eyes are watery

He grab for the knife then started peeling the apple.

She continued staring at him.

"You can stop now" she said, 

"Stop now" she pleaded 

Tear fell from his eyes to his cheeks. Thousand daggers were stabbing his heart.

He puts everything he's holding down.

Maybe the next is her.

He stands up and walks away.

By the doorway he stops.

"I won't, I love you"

His voice cracks, and everything falters, it affects her world

She thought she's strong enough

But no one can possibly be strong enough

Do not push Superman to his wits end

You just can't.
