Him

I can't even recall the last time when i did not miss him. He is there everywhere, on the bed, on the verandah, inside my soul!

 It took me two years to fall in love with him. Each moment that i had spent with him was like eternity, each moment was like an exploration. I discovered love only through him! I still cannot decipher the nature of affection that I had shared! I still can't determine the exactness of my affection. I had unknowingly stepped onto the journey of love, progressing from friendship. 

I forgot to keep track of time, days dawned into weeks, weeks into months. I was totally enraptured by that handsome face. Who was not? There was not a single girl who was not enraptured by him. That striking shine of his eyes, that remarkable moustache well-suited to enhance his charm. That ever-present smirk on his face was something that made me go crazy for him. Each day and night i used to crave for him. And it was not just me, but every other girl used to crave for him! 

Perhaps that was the root cause of all problems. Perhaps that ignited the not-so-good side in me. Perhaps that compelled me to mix poison in his tea. 

I saw him die, right in front of me. I saw him writhe in pain, holding his stomach and shrieking my name. Well that moment he was mine!.

That shriek, those helpless hands stretching to me for help. Those eyes spoke of utter desperation, which for me, was love! I had always craved for this desperation from him which i never got, of course. But that moment when he was writhing in pain, I saw that love which I had always wanted.

And now i miss him, really. But i like the way i miss him! Because there isn't anyone else who misses him like i do!
