Just a dream

It was pouring outside.Yet his bike made its way through all the chaos.He was drenched.He knew that.But he had to go on.

Back at the hotel she was waiting for him.She kept brushing her hair while looking at her reflection in the mirror with a slight blush on her cheeks. It has been almost a year now.A year since she saw him last.A year since she felt his gentle touch.A year since she looked into his warm eyes or kissed those soft lips.

She reminisced about the last time they met.He had to move away for work.He looked so happy.Told her how hard he had worked to get here.He was smiling from ear to ear.One year without him? Her heart was breaking yet she wished him the best of luck.she knew he deserved this.

They hugged.Was it her or did that hug last longer than it was supposed to.

She was pulled out of her retrieve when she heard a knock on the door.She jumped up.He was here!

She ran to open the door and there he was!

Drenched from head to toe.Smiling that crooked smile of his.

She leaned on the door with tears in her eyes.Oh how She missed him!

He scrunched up his eyebrows in confusion.Didn't she want to see him?

"I love you" she whispered

The one sentence he had longed to hear from her.The ONLY thing he yearned for....

'I love you" he whispered back.

He couldn't wait any longer.He swooped down and kissed her lips moving in.

He shut the door with his foot.

Outside it poured harder as if the rain was singing in joy for these two.
