A Grand Alibi

A grand alibi, I salute you.

Instead of being judgmental all the time,

In am practising something new,

For a while:

To accept things as they are said,

As they are presented in marvelous foils,

Prim and proper, tailormade!

Exclusive lies and excuses royal,

Feeds us , the ever-accepting batch

Of believers and traitors, the ignorant mass,

And behold, Alas

As even I bend and bow, and as of now

Voluntarily join the league.

It is highly impressive how

Innovatively shameless you can be:

You will keep your precious nose out,

Only hands and feet buried deep

Into the business of fair colleagues.

I salute you again, the crooked one,

The smart, the conniving,

And the game is won.

To escape ordeals, the burdensome,

Screen the orders, your impeccable run

Is praiseworthy, is cringeworthy:

The unapologetic nuiscance done.

Your aim thus, accomplished well,

Your position hence, grandly settled.

Foolish others, lesser ones

Suck the barrel of your polished gun;

I too adore your remarkable feat

While spineless creatures protect your feet.

Hail your fineness, ahead of your time:

I salute you and you grand alibi!
