A home for two

Info

I follow him around like a fool. I cannot help it. It is all I have to do. He checks himself out in the mirror and smiles at himself. He must have another date. I thought as he sprays cologne in the air. But, what about me? I know he knows I'm here with him, always. I follow him around his house, around his work, on the street. Everywhere. I was the thing he swept under the rug like nothing. He killed me and proceeded to ignore my persence.

He burps and I can still smell his breakfast, eggs and bacon. I wanted a bite so bad. But, I am forced to eat out of the trash outside.

He turns around and walks past me like, I'm nothing to him. I follow him to the door and rush out in time for him to close it. I watch as he rushes down the street. My swollen belly and short legs struggle to keep up. I can smell all the delicious smells of cafés and restaurants.

I finally catch up as he walks into a small restautant. I slide in just behind him, the door slamming my rear. He wanders around looking for someone. He suddenly sits down at a small booth across from a woman. I hop up on the seat next to him. The woman glances at me and then back to him.

They wait awhile as their food is being made. They keep talking and laughing together but, I am filled with rage. I don't understand how he could just do this to me. He knows I'm here!

Another man comes by with their food. He sets a piece of ham infront of each of them.

I give a startled oink. Brother! He is eating another one if us, the pig!
