A Letter to Romeo

To My Dearest Romeo,

     Something pulled us together. A force that will always be with us forever. From the moment I saw your gaze, our passionate love was set ablaze. Sadly, from the instance we met, we were inevitably upset. Still, I feel no regret. Our longings cannot be undone after our tragically bittersweet tale begun.

     Neither you nor I could understand our demented fate. How could destiny let our families live with hate? Not one could understand our love for each other, they only thought of it as a bother. They may call us traitors, but we are definitely not sinners. There is no wrong in being lovers. Until when would this torturous state of affair end? I wonder. As our kin try to tear us apart, I began to ponder. Compared to others, both you and I have endured far longer.

     From our secret night rendezvous to our stolen glances when in a crowd, I desperately prayed for our love to be allowed. My chest tightens in pain, as both our souls wait in vain. From our tragic condition to the inescapable conclusion. With the hopes of a better reincarnation, I foolishly and most certainly, selfishly intake this poison. For our situation that I can never bear, my soul continuously dwells in despair.

     Now, this letter has come to an end wherein I must depart. For your sake, and for mine as well, forget me not, but do continue life with a serene start. Just remember the feelings that came from deep within my heart: I love you so much, these are the only words I wish to impart.
