A lot of days, I find myself freezing, just thinking
Maybe the city you live in now, doesn't have my ghost
The city I live in, haunts me wherever I go
Every turn around every corner, I swear I can still see you there
But then again, I purposely search for you from the moment you left.
The only place I could really meet you is the place I reach when I sleep
For even if this world shows me your body, my soul would still miss it's mate
Your life seems to be on cloud nine, but careful, I've known what's falling like
Nothing lasts forever, but I've heard ghosts can't be killed
Yours is in my mind forever, where else would it rather be?
I know you're not lonely, I mean, wherever you are
I hate writing about you, it highlights my scars
I hope when someday you look back, you feel happy about the decisions you made
I hope life takes me far enough to remember these days
Everytime I'm alone, I tell myself you're gone, I should let you go
Everytime I'm alone I remind myself
if I hold on, it would just hurt more.
