Aren’t you a sinner like I am?
Wounds that you let bleed, and doors that you slam?
Isn’t it a sin to hurt yourself ,
Like it is to hurt others?
Yet, isn’t it true that every morning that you open your eyes
You repeat your routines, no emotions, cold as ice?
Is it not a sin to hide your pain behind that smile?
Is it not a sin to hide that you’ve been thinking of dying from a while?
You call me a sinner because I did not smile back at the old lady today
You tell me that my misconduct could make me pay
But I want to tell you, I haven’t kept myself in the dark
I have been behaving bad and wearing black
I am a sinner
Possibly ,not a forgive-r
I will beg for forgiveness ,from those whom I have hurt
I will clean the mess and the dirt
But I am a sinner and everyone knows me to be
You’re a sinner and nobody knows except me
Because I’ve heard you scream at yourself
I’ve seen you hurt yourself
I know that you’re not fine
But there’s a smile on your face while you dine
You don’t want to tell them it hurts
Neither about on those arms, the cuts
Self hurting is self destruction
And like this, there is no resurrection
Pain is painful, I know
Depression is bad, I’ve heard so
I can’t give you a guaranteed solution right now
Not now but soon and that I promise to thou
Forgive yourself, you’re not perfect
And for that I respect
You, because you’ve not given up on yourself yet
So I beg you, don’t have a dead end, met.
What lasts forever, can only be the things that stay inside our head. It's the safest dangerous place
