The sun seemed always happy every time I look at it
An eternal smile etched on it's bright face
Until the time of it's descent to the horizon
And replaced by a melancholic beauty
With the canvass embellished with myriad of stars
The mirthful sun and the dismal moon
A sudden breeze took me back to reality
The trees swayed to the wind's melodious passing
Seemingly greeting me "Welcome back" from my reverie
Denied of my dream again...
From this monotonous life of mine
Daydreaming was my only escape
A personal sanctuary concealed from the mundane life outside
To dream forever in a place of untainted beauty
A place told in tales as an ever-enchanting utopia
A place to be...
For me
But such is a dream
A dream of a simple boy in a simple town
Filled with normal people living their normal lives
A mere wish of an ill-fated boy
Dreaming of Fantasies to replace reality
Believing in them...
Is all that I can do
