Mistakes are the essence of regret
Of despondency that humans feel afterwards
Of despair when one gives up
Then of the broken who's too tired to pick up the pieces
And as it ruin one's humanity...
Darkness obscures everything
So I asked myself, "Why?"
A question too stupid to answer
What I did was of my own volition
An orchestra I constructed for the sake of Pride
Or was it Foolishness?
I knew the consequences that would follow
Yet still, I acted arrogantly
For the sake of Pride
Or was it Selfishness?
Too late to ponder about everything now
Dark colors are streaming through the walls
Covering each corner with shades of blame
Blame... on me?
Yes.
Faults created by arrogance and pride
Mistakes forever within me
I dared not ask anymore
Here In a room filled with unfriendly shadows
Of forgotten promises
Of broken relationships
Of all that is lost in the void
A new state of mind took over
Slowly, the Darkness obscured the whole room
Obscured myself
Obscured my face
Obscured my mind
