Do I miss you? Of course, I do. Who wouldn’t? After all the memories and games.

She used to say “Don’t fall in love with people like me”.

I think she was afraid to love. I think it scared her. She couldn’t hold on to it and make sure it never changed. And I still miss the cute little nicknames we gave each other. I miss our inside jokes and the lame things we found funny. I miss the things that only we could think of. There was not a single thing I didn't love when I was with you. I miss us, I miss who you once were. Sometimes when I look at you, and I find you’re looking back at me giving this teeny-tiny hint of something you’re feeling but can’t say.

I think you still love me. But I’m not enough for you. I knew this was going to happen. So I’m not blaming you. I'm not bitter anymore, because I know that what we had was real. I’m not angry, either. I should be, but I’m not. I hope that in the future when our story is about to end. And if you’re never going to see me again then I’ll say, “It was nice to have you in my life while I did, good luck with everything that happens after now.”
