About Last Night..#Episode 10

Sam dialled Rishab's number who was suppose to be there by now..
But his phone kept ringing and nobody answered..
Sam & Ritu both tried to reach Rishab but without any success..
Sam tried to give Ritu company and they were talking about random things just to kill time while waiting for Rishab to show up..

Shalini & Ron were done talking.Shalini was looking for Sam and she found out Sam to be with a girl whom she did not know.
They seemed to be deeply involved into some discussion so Shalini thought not to interfere.
In the meantime,Ron said that he had some important work the next day and so he had to leave early.
It seemed quite strange to Shalini as Ron never left a chance to get sloshed.. Probably he really had some important work,thought Shalini,without being too interfering.

AtTheHospital...

After doctor took over to check up with Richa.
Rishab looked into his phone and saw 30 missed calls from Sam and Ritu..
In all these chaos,he totally forgot to inform them.
Rishab quickly called Sam and asked if he could drop in the hospital with Ritu,explaining the whole situation..

Sam was shocked after getting the news and without thinking much he & Ritu left for the hospital.
Shalini saw them leaving and felt maybe he got some good company and wanted to enjoy with her..
Suddenly she felt a little sad or was it jealousy of seeing Sam with a pretty girl..
Whatever it was,she asked Ron to drop her home..She was already in a bad mood for an unknown reason..

Ritu was worried and Sam was speechless..He thought it was going to be a good birthday for all of them but may be luck had some other plans..

As they moved towards the hospital,their car got broken down and they thought,what else was due to happen to make it worse..!!!

AtTheHospital..

Doctor said Richa that she was a really lucky girl as she only had a minor injury and no fracture..
He said Rishab that she was fine and there was nothing to be worried about..& also informed that she could go back home that very night after an hour or so..

After doctor left,Richa and Rishab finally were alone and both of them did not know how to react..

"Richa looks prettier than before" thought Rishab..
"Rishab is still handsome infact he has become hotter" thought Richa..

Finally Rishab spoke.."How were you crossing the road? You should have been careful specially when you have grown up..!!"
"It was not my fault.. It was that damn car driver's fault..& don't shout at me, I was quick enough to side myself from it's way and see no fracture.." Richa replied trying to justify that it was not her fault..
"But why were you leaving? I thought,you were there to be in Sam's birthday party.." questioned Rishab..
"Well.." after a little pause she said him "I did not want to meet you Rishab".
"Why? It's been years since that incident..I tried to contact you via social media..But you blocked me from everywhere without even giving me a chance to explain..That was not fair on your part Richz.." Rishab sounded annoyed..
"Richa..that's what is my name."Richa reminded him.
"Whatever..!! Now that we met, can we settle the old unsettled issues??" Asked a curious Rishab.
"No..& both of us have moved on..We can leave it to there only." Said Richa.
"Oh really?? Then why you are still single?"Rishab threw that question straight at her.
"None of your business..You have a girlfriend and she's my bff..Don't forget that" Richa snapped back.
"Okay listen..I know whatever I'm gonna say, you won't believe but probably this is the only chance I got to say" Rishab's voice softened and he came close to where Richa was lying.
He gently took her hand into his,and there was some connection between them for sure which stopped Richa from taking away her hands..
She was finally listening to Rishab..

"I have never ever fallen for anyone Richa.Yes, I had dated,flirted and had flings.Yes I am in a relationship now but I could never love anyone after you...I loved you and only you Richs..& I am being honest about it.."Rishab told Richa in a loving way..
Richa was lost in his words and eyes but quickly she recovered from that and said "No,Rishab you did not love me either..You were sleeping with my friend back then..You don't do that when you love someone..I don't know about you but all these years I have tried to move on but I just could not trust any guy after what you did to me..I am single by choice and not because I still feel for you" Richa looked away from Rishab as soon as she completed her sentence..
"No..That is a sheer lie..I never dated anyone else when I was with you,let alone sleeping with somebody..Your friend lied to you because she was behind getting me.Am sorry that I never told you that she proposed me, because you were possessive about me and she was my friend too..I thought,we all can be friends if I don't mention about this matter..But that bitch..!! She took her revenge by manipulating you against me.& You believed her and not me..I tried to contact you but you never gave in.." Rishab was almost broken now..
"What?? She proposed you?? I never knew that..But why should I believe you Rishab..?? Do you have any proof? Ritu even said me that she was quite insecure about dating you because of your history with so many girls.." Richa had a point..
"Yes,I have that girl's number.. Recently she got engaged and she's very happy in her world..Why don't you ask her? Here is my phone..I hope she does not lie now.." Rishab dialled that girl's number (Rishab knew that this topic would need some proofs and so he already arranged for her number.. Thanks to social media)...
"I don't want to ask anybody anything.." said stubborn Richa..
"Fine..I will talk to her keeping the phone on speakers.." Rishab was desperate to prove his point..

"Hello,this is Rishab here..How are you?" Rishab started with a casual greeting ..
Eventually he asked "You remember how much you hated Richa for being my girlfriend back in highschool?? Are you in touch with her? "
"Yes we are in Facebook but we don't talk much..Why suddenly you are asking this?"
"One thing I wanted to ask you..Why you lied to her that you slept with me when I rejected your proposal back then??" Rishab could not kill more time so he went straight to the main topic.
"Omg..!! Been years..Now even you have grudges on me for that matter?? Ain't it?? It's simple Rishab, I thought if you could not be with me then you did not deserve to be with her either..But I feel ashamed.Back then I was jealous of seeing you guys together and I acted like a witch..I am really sorry for that..Is there anything I could do?"she asked ..
"No..That's cool.." Rishab disconnected the call the moment his purpose of calling her was over..
Richa looked shocked and tears rolled down her eyes..She broke up and mistrusted the only guy she ever loved that too for a girl who simply took revenge..She felt terrible and she started to cry.. She did not know what to say..
"You know after you left me for such a reason, I thought no girl deserved my love..I became casual about girls but the truth is..I am still in love with you Richs..Can we take it from the point where we left??" Rishab asked hopefully.
"No.You are my bff's boyfriend..She loves you a lot Rishab ..I can't just do this to her.."
"She loves me or not I don't care..Do you love me?? I just want an honest answer.." Rishab looked straight into her eyes..
Richa could not hide her feelings for him anymore..All these years she craved for Rishab but she knew Rishab was not a nice guy who broke her heart and trust..
Richa kept crying without knowing what to do..She was thinking about Ritu now.Ritu does not have any fault to be punished in this way.What will Ritu think if she find out??

Sam & Ritu heard the last part of the conversation from outside the room where Richa and Rishab was..
Sam did not know what to do..Ritu looked pale.
Ritu finally got inside the room and hugged Richa saying "Thank God..you are fine..I was so damn tensed." ..
Richa and Rishab both looked shocked and did not know if Sam and Ritu heard about it or not..
Then finally like a true bff,Ritu asked Richa "Now that I know Rishab was always in love with you and so he could never come close to me in that way..It is my duty to ask you,are you still in love with Rishab?"
"Me..?? No.." Richa said,her voice shaking..
"Ohh..Richa you are such a bad liar..I'm your bff..If I don't read you then who will..Don't worry about me..It's really stupid to be with someone who never fell in love with me..& I really want you two to rethink about it..I'm happy to know the reason atleast why Rishab was never there for me in the way I was there for him.."
Ritu was heart broken but she did not want her best friend to see that and also she thought to leave Rishab and Richa together.
With teary eyes she took their leaves and left..
Sam was standing there without uttering a word..What could he say??
He just asked Rishab "So this is the girl you talked about.."
Rishab nodded his head in an yes.
Sam went to Richa and said "Richa I don't know much but one thing for sure..Rishab always said me that he was in love with only one girl till date and now I know who's she..He really loves you..I can't force you for anything but take a wise decision."

Sam left the two there and moved out of the hospital...
When Sam came out,he saw Ritu was crying her heart out..
Sam went to her and tried to soothe her..
Sam already informed Shalini and Ron about the accident and they were on their way to the hospital...

When Shalini and Ron reached the hospital, Shalini saw Sam was hugging the girl with whom he left the lounge bar with..
She felt jealous because it was only her right to hug Sam.. Suddenly she realised,in all these years she never saw Sam with anyone but she was with so many guys..How can she not want him around any other girls? Even he had a life.!!

Shalini chided herself for thinking such stuffs..
"Hey Shalini.." Sam called seeing Shalini standing  there..
Ron went to park the car..

Shalini came to Sam and Ritu and she was not expecting to see a crying girl..She asked what was the matter..
Sam said that he will explain her later,it was not the right time..

Ritu stopped sobbing by now and asked Sam if he could just drop her home because she already told her driver to take her car home thinking she might need to stay at the hospital in case of emergency..

Sam nodded..
While they were leaving..Ron came..
"Parna.." Ron excitedly said to Ritu..
Within a moment Ritu's expression changed..
"Ron??" Ritu came running towards Ron..

Sam and Shalini stood there watching them greeting eachother..
"The lean guy..Mr.boney..How come you have got so much muscles??" Asked Ritu looking surprised..
"You know..I have been looking for you for months since the time I came back here.." Ron informed her..

Sam corrected Ron.."Hey..As far as I know she is Ritu..Correct me in case am wrong.."
"My full name is Rituparna Sam" Ritu said giggling..
Shalini was shocked too but happy to see that Ron finally got her long lost best friend..
Ron and Ritu seemed to forget about everything and were lost in conversation..

Sam offered Shalini to drop her home leaving the best friends to talk..
While going back Sam said "I am really happy for all of them..But you did not mind your boyfriend is with another girl at this hour??" Sam teased her.
"Ron and I broke up ..It was not working out.." Shalini informed him.
Sam did not react to that, truth was Sam was more than happy to know that..But then,Shalini would again end up with another great looking guy without noticing how much Sam was into her..

They were quite for a long time..Suddenly Shalini asked Sam to stop the car..
Sam did that..
Shalini said him "So,Mr.geek do you mind if I ask you something??"
"What?" Sam could not figure it out..
"Will you be my boyfriend like forever??" Shalini could not suppress her feelings anymore..She knew Sam would never come and approach her..
And from few months she was actually analysing everything..& she came out with a conclusion that no-one else but Sam could only make her happy..He was the only guy who truly cared for her..
"WHAT..??" Sam was too shocked.He could not believe what he just heard Shalini saying..
"Yes..I know..You are a mr.good boy and probably I have had been with many guys..But truth is..I only cared about you..This is new to me even..Even I realised it lately and accepted it today to myself that I'm in love with you.. Probably that's why I never felt that way for anyone..& I know you love me too..But you are too good for me Sam..I know that..I just said what I felt..You know me..I never like playing hide and seek..You think about it and let me know.."
Sam did not move..
After a pause of few minutes he finally said "Are you sure?? You know I have always been in love with you..Since the time I saw you in school..But I'm a nerdy average looking guy,I thought you would feel embarrassed to be my girlfriend..I love you Shalini..I alwyas loved you but I am not very experienced when it comes to girls..I don't know if I can keep you happy or..." Sam was trying to find right words..
Shalini found it quite sweet and without giving Sam much time to think,Shalini kissed him..Their kiss lasted quite a long time.
It was probably his best birthday gift..Sam finally got the person he was in love with...

AtTheHospital..

Richa and Rishab decided to move out of the hospital..Without uttering any word they left..
Richa was still feeling guilty..She was thinking about Ritu..
When they came out..They saw Ritu with a guy..Richa and Rishab, both of them, did not know who was the guy..
Ritu seemed quite happy,to their surprise..

Ritu came towards them and introduced Ron and narrated the whole story..
Then Ritu said Richa "Richa,You are my best friend and you will always be my best friend..Dare you think that I'm leaving you..If you think that I'm hurt then yes I am hurt..But today because of you I met Ron,my long lost bestie..See you have a competition now girl" Ritu tried to sound cheerful so that Richa feels good..
"& Yes,I will be more than happy to see you with a guy Richa..For me your happiness matters the most..Truth is Rishab never loved me and that's okay.."
Now,Ritu turned to Rishab who was feeling equally bad for Ritu..
"Listen Rishab, I can only forgive you if you promise me that you will keep my best friend really really happy.."
Rishab nodded..

Ron & Ritu already planned to go to a nearby eatery..They had so much to talk about..Ritu left with Ron bidding them goodbye..

Rishab helped Richa to get into his car..During the whole journey both of them were silent.
Rishab thought, probably Richa won't be comfortable in seeing him again,let alone be with him..
Finally he dropped her home and said.
" So this is it Richa?? I guess we are not meeting anymore.." said Rishab in a disappointed tone..
Richa looked back and said smilingly "Only if you call me Richs.."
