About Last Night...#Episode 9

The Birthday ....

Atevening..@6.30p.m

"You look stunning girl" exclaimed Richa looking at Ritu, who was all decked up in a little blue dress and a perfectly done makeup and hairdo..!!
"Thanx honey..& as always you look pretty too"said Ritu..

Richa,who was never fond of heavy makeup chose a little white dress & she enhanced her eyes which was winged with eyeliners and a baby pink lipgloss..She liked to keep it simple always..

"So...Shall we get going??"asked Ritu..

Ritu already took her home car and she quickly instructed the driver to take them to the lounge bar that they had already decided to hit that evening..
Before leaving for the bar, Ritu called Rishab to ask exactly when they would come and meet them?
It was suppose to be 9 p.m for Rishab..
But he informed that Sam would be there by 8 p.m along with his friends..(Shalini & Ron)

Richa & Ritu finally left for the party..

Shalini already was there with Ron..
They were only boozing without talking much because they just did not have enough to talk about..

In the meantime...Sam entered...

Looking at Sam.. Shalini's eyes widened and jaw dropped..
The nerdy Sam looked so different.
Sam chose a deep black shirt with blue jeans and his hair was styled in a fashionable way and the best part about him was he was not wearing his nerdy specs..His big expressive eyes with long eyelashes was something to ponder over..
"Wow!! Why he never tried to dress up like this before??" Thought an amazed Shalini.

Ron was equally surprised to see the changed Sam..
"You look great bro..Happy birthday.." Ron wished hugging Sam.
& Sam smiled back..
Shalini hugged and wished him too but tonight she just could not speak anything..Yes!! She was that shocked (positive one)..

"Rishab where are you? I never met Ritu before..& this place is quite crowded..Is she already here?? Then I can go and say a hi" Sam asked Rishab over call..
"Not yet bro .. They would reach soon though..Traffic you know how it is..& even I'm about to reach within sometimes..I'm just busy at your apartment settling things.." informed Rishab..

"So who all are coming??" Finally  managed to ask Sam..
"Rishab..& his girlfriend Ritu and her bff Richa"answered Sam..
"Well you are looking good Sam.." finally Shalini complimented him..
"Thank you Shalini..You look great too"

Undoubtedly Shalini knew how to dress to kill..She chose an LBD (little black dress)for the evening and she paired it up with silver stilettos and a pair of diamond earrings and she let her smooth hair rest on her shoulders..& she chose a dark shade of pink to wear with the black dress..

"Man she is pretty and hot..A deadly combination..Ron is lucky ." Thought Sam,who never was good with complimenting Shalini..
But today for a change Sam said her "you look gorgeous girl"..
A compliment from Sam was unexpected which made Shalini blush a little..

Richa & Ritu finally reached the venue..
As they entered all the eyes shifted to the two pretty ladies..
Ritu had Sam's calling number and without much delay she called up Sam..
Sam came near the entrance to receive them,like a gentleman he always was..
Finally Sam met Ritu and Richa.Both of them look great.Instantly Ritu thought may be..Richa and Sam can get along..
Unlike Ritu,Richa alwyas fell for great personality and an intellectual person.
Richa was never bothered about a guy's looks or muscles like Ritu..
This very thought made Ritu excited..

Richa knew that Rishab would be late and her plan was to leave before Rishab shows up..
She did not want to meet him..
She liked Sam though..She found him chivalrous and nice..
"How can this guy be friends with Rishab? Both of them are totally opposite of each other" thought Richa..

While Sam went to receive them, Ron decided to say what was going on in his mind from last few days to Shalini..Ron decided to deal with it in a gentleman's way.
Shalini was thinking to discuss the same.
Ron finally broke the silence and said..
"Shalini there's something you should know"
"Yes Ron..Tell me what is it??Even I wanted to discuss few things with you,about us.." Shalini said..
"Okay..Ladies first..So you go first.."Ron said..
"Look Ron, from last few days I feel our spark is missing..We are not yet into a commitment...Do you think that is being the reason why both of us are a little distant from eachother specially mentally??" Shalini questioned him..
Ron thought Shalini probably wanted a commitment now and he already knew that what he had to say her..
""Shalini see..Don't hate me for saying you this but I am in search of someone for whom I feel love and honestly I never fell in love with any girl yet..I feel that even our equation is below that level..We both are like not mentally together with eachother.. Look Shalini you are a very nice person..You are beautiful and hot..Any guy would feel lucky to be with you in a relationship..But I'm not the one..I am not ready for a commitment yet..& I think..." Ron paused a little to let Shalini understand the depth of his words..He felt bad for breaking her heart..
Deep inside Shalini wanted this only..She was releived because before she could talk about it Ron himself brought the whole thing..
"It's okay Ron..I don't need a commitment..Infact the truth is..Like you even I never felt for you that way..I was about to discuss about it only..It's good that you brought it up ...So let's call it off..& hey we can remain friends.." Said a releived Shalini..
Ron felt releived too.He did not expect Shalini to take this so lightly but it was a mutual decision and probably they were mature enough to respect eachother's choices..
"One more thing I wanted you to know.." Ron continued.."I'm in search of my old best friend..Can you help me out in that??"
"What is it all about??" Shalini was curious now..
Ron narrated the whole story to her..
"What was her name?" Asked Shalini.
"That's the worst part..I called her Parna..& probably she had another name..I tried to search her over social media but without any success.." Ron said sadly..
Shalini really wanted to help Ron in finding his old best friend.. Because she knew what is the importance of a good buddy in someone's life is like..Like Sam is a little world to her..

While they were discussing about it,Sam thought not to disturb them and tried to accompany Ritu and Richa..
Ritu already was trying to give them space..Thinking something might just click for her forever single bff..!!!

Two hours passed by..Richa said that she had to leave because she was not feeling quite well health wise..Surely it was a false claim just to avoid meeting Rishab who was about to reach there at any moment..
Ritu got offended at such a behaviour because she really thought today was the day when Richa and Rishab would be meeting eachother..
Ritu was so disappointed that she did not even stop Richa..
Sam offered Richa to drop her home but Richa said that she was a big girl and not much drunk and could go by herself.

Richa wished Sam happy birthday and left from there..
Just 15 minutes after Rishab entered the venue..!!
Richa noticed Rishab getting down from his car but did not let it affect her and she decided to go straight to the other side of the road where her booked cab was waiting for her..

While she was about to cross, she almost was crushed by a car which was in high speed and the moment the car passed by her..She fell down and people shouted and crowded around her & well that made Rishab notice her..He came running to help her but her leg was already bleeding..
They hurried to the nearby hospital..
In this chaos,Rishab forgot to call and inform Sam or Ritu about the accident..
