A dialogue between two friends...
Kim Na Na : Chae Young Shin..You know what...I sometimes, feel that you are insensitive. You really don't fall for anyone??
Chae Young Shin : Kim Na Na, I doubt you as my friend. Inspite of knowing me , you are asking me such a question.
Kim Na Na : Sometimes, I really think I don't know you. I can't figure out the reason behind your "NO." Don't you really want to experience all that what other people experience when they are in "Love"?? C'mon tell me.
Chae Young Shin : You really want to know it.
Kim Na Na : I want to..tell me.
Chae Young Shin : Kim Na Na .....I don't know about people what they experience when they are in "Love" but as far as I am concerned.." I really don't want to fall in love with the idea of being in Love."
Kim Na Na : Now, what does that iconic statement of yours mean?
Chae Young Shin : Somewhere..I think people are more curious to fall for a person because they are in love with an illusion i.e. they want somebody to be there for them in order to make them feel special. I guess they are more excited to fall in love because of what it will yield to them ( to get surprises, to feel special, to experience the importance in the life of the other person by being someone's priority or to gain social status).
Kim Na Na : But then how is your point different?? I mean it is quite natural to experience all this when a person is in love?? Is it not natural to expect surprises? Is it not expected to feel special?
Chae Young Shin : Ahhh..I knew...You would ask this. I didn't say that it is not natural. Now understand..to fall in love because one wants to experience something in return ( to get surprises/ to feel special) according to me is not love. The real magic happens when "It" really exists...meaning when a person first falls for the other person selflessly and then experiences the above mentioned things i.e. not because the person himself/ herself wants to experience those but when he/she is made to feel those ( the above mentioned things) by their beloved i.e. when it automatically happens on the part of their beloved. I think, then it is "Love" in real sense. You know what Kim Na Na..people often fail to distinguish between these two things and as a result understand "Infatuation" as "Love"which is not long lasting. I think people tend to convert " love" into a fancy thing and to a high extent have sculpted it into an overrated concept. They somewhere don't understand the simplicity of "It" rather have fixed their own superficial parameters to define it. I think "IT" just can't be defined..it just can only be felt. Kim Na Na..tell me, now did you get my philosophy?
Kim Na Na : Yes, I got it..But when will it exist for you?
Chae Young Shin : I guess, it will exist for me..when I will truly fall for someone.
Kim Na Na : I asked, When??
Chae Young Shin: Well, this... I have never thought off..Let it happen at it's own pace... I think then it will be better. Sometimes, it is better to leave things in the hands of Almighty.
Kim Na Na : Chae Young Shin... I will pray for you.. so that you get your real man.
Chae Young Shin: I too will pray for you...so that you can experience this in a real sense and not in a wordly sense (superficial sense).
