Distorted Sacrament.

Scene 1:

Sarp is standing near the "Bosphorous Strait".... is looking at the waters of "Bosphorous" and is lost in his thoughts.

Levent (His childhood and best friend arrives at the place) and says-

"Sarp ....I thought , you must be here and you are here!!"

Sarp didn't respond to what Levent said. He is still looking at the waters of "Bosphorous."

Levent: I know ...you are thinking about last night. Sarp...Meltem is back!!

Sarp: So??

Levent: So??? You didn't feel anything for her when you saw her in the party after two years??? Didn't you??

Sarp: Feel.....What feeling are you talking about ???  I don't feel anymore!!

Levent: Stop!! Lying to yourself..Sarp. Look at yourself. From the day she left you....you actually stopped living Life. You are almost a dead body from the past two years. Atleast, go for once and talk to her. Don't you have questions in your head that why she left you?? Are you really not keen to know??? I am sure..there is a reason.

Sarp: With which right do you want me to go to her and talk?? Levent..I think you have forgotten that we have already parted our ways (taken a divorce) two years back.

Levent: So, does this by any chance mean that you two can't talk to each other or does this mean that you don't Love Meltem anymore. You know both of these cases are impossible because the truth is that you still love her and you only feel for her.

Sarp: Stop!! exaggerating things Levent. You know..sometimes "Love" is not enough and it is nothing like what you are saying or thinking. My present is Ece and I am happy with her.

Levent: Happy??? How can you be happy when...you don't feel anymore?? And yes, had you been really happy, you would have been spending time with Ece as yesterday only you guys exchanged the engagement rings..but look at you .....You are here staring at the waters of Bosphorous and thinking about Meltem.

Sarp:  Stop this...What about you..Levent??? You too saw Deniz.... yesterday in the party after so long right??? Didn't you feel for her?? Didn't you feel like talking to her??

Levent: Yes, I still feel for her and you know I will always feel for her.How could I have been able to talk to her??? .....When I did wrong to us ( Me and Deniz)..when I committed a big mistake..when I closed all the paths for us that were once open for both of us. I know..She can never forgive me..for what I did to her. Sarp, atleast..I am not lying like you..I have confessed what I feel for Deniz. No matter how hard I want Me and Deniz to be together..I know it won't happen. I am regretting it like anything and I really don't want you to commit a blunder and regret it later. Atleast go for once and get to know the reason.

Sarp: You know what ...Levent. The truth is that the reason doesn't really matter for me now..because everything is over a way back. It is all in the past and there is no point talking about it. My present is Ece and I will soon be marrying her. I think this is what Life has for me. 

Suddenly, Sarp gets a call from his manager.

Sarp: Hello.

Manager: Sir, we need you here as we have to discuss about the upcoming parties that our club would be organising.

Sarp: Okay, I am coming.

Sarp hangs up the call.

Sarp: Levent ..Let's not talk about it. I know you care about me but there is no chance left . It is all over. I need to go..See you soon ..Levent.

Levent: See you!!

Sarp sits in his car and drives towards his club.

Levent is left behind thinking : I wish ...Things would have not ended like this for the four of us. I know there is no chance for me and Deniz to be together but I don't want you( Sarp) and Meltem to be like us. I hope you realize it soon before it gets too late Levent.
