I wonder .....if the words "Perfectionism" or "Being Perfect" exist in reality??? Well, as far as I have understood "Life"..These words are overrated and are idealistic in nature which don't even owe an existence in reality. Infact, these words are myths that people believe in.
Just think...How can words like " Perfectionism" or "Being Perfect" exist when " Life itself can never be Perfect." There is always something that is left behind or is always missing out in life...isn't it??? So, how is it complete?? Is it?? It is never and so it is never perfect. These terms can never be universal in nature. Infact, what I perceive is..these terms are purely Individualistic in nature i.e..the meaning and the perception of these terms varies from person to person. As, everyone has a different story (life)..so it is fair enough for people to have their own versions of "Perfectionism" or " Being Perfect." Isn't it??
But "What is it that makes the superficial existence/individual perceptions of these words possible?" ... I think...It is the "Self-Satisfaction" of a person. In a way...the term " Self-Satisfaction" which is very essential in one's life is replaced by these terms. The self-satisfaction derived by a person from anything/anyone is misunderstood as being "perfect" for the person.
In real, what is more important in life is to discover a balance among various aspects of life and derive self satisfaction from it. Infact, these skills are to be never misconceptualized as a means of directing people towards "Perfectionism" or " Being Perfect"...... as both of these terms don't have any ground reality.
