Angelica

It’s an ordinary day, nothing seems unusual. Angelica started her day with a simple prayer "Lord, May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven", then took breakfast surrounded by her family in serene atmosphere.

Everybody is quite, showing no emotions and eating slowly. Still a melancholic feeling governs over the place. The eating room is so spacious, yet Angelica has always the same reserved seat at the table. She’s highly assessed by her parents, every family member loves her deeply and talk to her pitifully as she never figured out the reason behind.

Angelica  pictures are all over the living room, but only as a baby then as a child. Her bedroom retains the same old dresses of a very young little girl. Dolls are kept too. Whenever Angelica try to get aride of them, her mother return each thing to its place.it has been the case for 10 years until Angelica gave up to change whatever it is.

Angelica felt constantly blessed, she knew deep down that God loves her and exalts all her wishes and dreams.

She felt like 8 years old girl, trapped inside a 50 years old woman’s body. She just stopped growing. Nevertheless she has the ability to see loveliness in persons who were perceived ugly by other people and demons in the most innocent faces. She is mature and thoughtful girl, always looking too deep into everything.

She sees only souls and never bodies. She likes people with complexity and profundity of emotional. People that speak and act with integrity from their inner twisted heart.With a good core, soft, strong and honest, she laughs loudly, cries easily, loves simply and apologizes for nothing.

She never managed to  understand the world negativity, problems and cruelty. She felts that she doesn't fit in this world. She was quite different and too good to be true.She has a strong faith in God will, she accepted whatever came or leave her life because she’s convinced this is the best for her. She worried about nothing and prayed for everything.

Everybody around Angelica perceived her as a soul that provides help, assistance and comfort. For the simple reason that she is always able to give the appropriate suggestion to their issues. It’s like she possess that supernatural power to protect people she loves from pressure and confusion .Moreover, whenever she provide company to someone, he is kept out of harm’s way with gentle and prior warnings.

Also, she represents a source of positives vibes and energy to help people heal faster, by providing love and encouragement.

Unlike most girls, Angelica is used to the idea to never get attached to someone, she believed that she was born to live freely, openly and be God’s servant.  She never attempts to harm someone even the worst people. In opposite she forgets quickly and forgives easily.

Came one day, when Angelica woke to the sound of people gossiping downstairs of her house. Everyone is  dressed in black and wearing a sad face. Angelica’s parents were receiving the guests, thanking them for showing up and for the provided support. There were served food, many chairs  and a stand for people to give a memorial speech. She could deduct easily that it’s a funeral home. They are trying to honor a Dead person .But, whose funeral is that?

she turned around the room and then she saw her picture in a big frame. She screamed out loud “Mom, Dad ... what are you doing I’m here, I’m alive!! how could you organize my funeral??”. Nobody heard her. Even more nobody looked at her.

She got closer to her photograph and found a short story written right next to it.

As a matter of fact, Angelica is dead 10 years ago when she has only 8 years old. Her body was found in the wood raped and murdered by  supposedly a human being that the police couldn’t discover at that time.

Her parents refused to bury the body until the murderer is found.10 years later the case hasn’t progressed and finally they decide to let her soul rest in peace and put her tiny body in her last grave.

At first she felt scared, disturbed and strange. Then everything falls into its own rightful place and starts to make sense. That’s why everybody talked about her and never speaks to her.Angelica turns out to be a soul of little girl. She was an angel on earth for 10 years long.

She followed the crowd until her body was buried, then she realised that she doesn’t belong to this world anymore, she has to fly and join the rest of angels in heaven.

She kissed her mother on her forehead, wiped off her tears and whispered , “ I would be your guardian angel ... I promise mom. No one will ever hurt you or do you any harm ... especially Dad” .
