I often ask myself, how can I be brave if I am so afraid to be honest with myself? I thought being brave amidst of difficulties of life is everything but I was very wrong. You can't be brave if you are untrue with yourself. Nowadays, We, people, tend to fool ourselves that we are strong outside but the truth is we are empty in the inside. Why? because our definition of Bravery is being ego-minded, full of our self-centered goals. Will these things make us successful in our endeavors? Absolutely NOT!
When I was a child, I was so scared of having low grades because was too conscious of how my classmates would respond if ever they knew that I got the lowest mark. I was so depressed and frustrated at young age because I let people ruin my principle towards learning. But now, I have changed. I am still scared, YES. But now, I am Brave to accept defeat and learn to Move forward. I am glad I chose this path. A path far away from self- imposed rules of perfection.
For me, Bravery means you can tell others that you are weak but capable of being great, eventually. Together with God's wisdom, you can change. Life is full of unlimited twists which are inevitable. You have no choice but to be Brave, not just brave but Genuinely Brave. Don't live life according to other people's perspectives, you have to stand firm in your principles and never ever give up. Be Brave, sweet. Be Genuinely Brave. - J.B.M.A
Remember, We are beautiful, handsome and capable of being what the Lord wants us to be.
