Beers and Blue Roses

I was drinking caffeine. You're drinking liquor.

I remember back in February 14th that my mind was stucked; wondering, where did I ever get the courage to give you such a piece of my interest?

A blue rose.

I gave you a blue rose--yes, without hesitation, without regrets. I gave you one, just to remind you that I am, still, madly, insane, and desperate perhaps.

They say to give someone a blue rose is a sign of such unattainable and silent love. Yet to me, it wasn't. I have my own definition of blue roses.

Blue roses have this higher decree of simply exposing one's utmost love to another. Silent? Yes it is silent. I call it Syllove, the highest form of love where one is brave enough to accept rejection; to never wait for 'that' love to be reciprocated.

Yes I gave it to you.

That is to remind you that I may have been gone a few times already, for almost two years, I've been blinded by your impassiveness, without noticing your 'silent' heart waiting for mine to respond.

That was an assurance already, a silent confession.

I may have been gone for a few years young lad, but not my love for you.

Caffeine. Liquor. Blue roses. Pink sleeves. Black Tux. Ephemeral beauty. Perfumes. What ifs. Confusions.

They all reminded me of you. A lot more, actually.

To tell you young lad, new year has already been celebrated. And this year's Valentine's also passed by. Now, I'm opt for new ones.

New fun.
New beginnings.
New you.
New me.

New love...for both of us.

You see young lad, I pray for the love between us.

Yes, a new love for us to grow separately.

A new love, that doesn't mean it's a new person.
