It's that time of the year again. I always get so emotional when it's fast approaching. Everything flashes back. I can feel the hurt from your screams. I can see your hurt from your dried eyes and pale skin. Tears continuously leaving my eyes. It still hurts even after so many years. It feels like I got broken more than a million times. I still see you in my dreams though but it hurts more because I always hope that this has never happened and that you are still here, the hero I’m always with saving me from the judgement of the world. I'm still trying to be strong and I am so proud of myself that I was able to endure every day that pass by and I still smile a lot like you always do. I know that you are proud of me too. I am still holding on to the promise I've made for you. I'm sorry if it will take a long time before we see each other again.
