Compressed air precision filters, generally installed at the rear end of the air compressor, physically intercept solid impurities, liquid water and oil mist in the compressed air and purify it;
According to different working conditions, different models of precision filters need to be selected.
Precision filters, in general, are classified according to the different models of filtering precision and filter element material.
Betten high efficiency precision filters, divided into four models:
S-class filter (pre-filter), which can filter solid particle impurities of 3μ and above, with oil mist concentration controlled at 1ppm/wt;
U-level filter (primary filter), which removes solid particle impurities of 1μ and above, and controls oil mist concentration at 0.5ppm/wt;
H-level filter (pre-filter), which removes solid particle impurities of 0.1μ and above, and controls oil mist concentration at 0.1ppm/wt;
F-level filter, can remove 0.01μ and above solid particle impurities, oil mist concentration control in 0.01ppm/wt; can effectively filter ultra-fine dust.
Precision filters are generally used in conjunction with compressed air dryers, often using the configuration of the first 3 after 1;
S, U, H three filters installed in the front of the compressed air dryer, the stable and lasting operation of the dryer to play a protective role, also known as security filters.
The F filter is installed at the back end of the dryer to effectively filter ultra-fine dust and ensure the quality of the compressed air outlet.
Such a configuration is generally suitable for industries such as food and pharmaceuticals, electronic components, etc., because of their high requirements for compressed air quality.
In many rough production, there is no need to use such a high configuration.
Many users often use the universal configuration of SUH three-stage filter + refrigerated dryer, which can be used in many workshops with low compressed air quality requirements, such as for sandblasting and surface blowing.

The S-class filter is the first stage filter, which uses stainless steel knotted mesh cartridge, which can withstand greater pressure and corrosion, and is the first safeguard for the back-end filter and dryer.
The subsequent three filters, the material are used polymer filter material (glass fibre), its filtration precision and filtration effect is significantly higher than stainless steel, but the pressure-bearing capacity is weaker.
