Dear Older Me,
First thing first. You are wonderful.
I hope you're doing good like I'm always dreaming.
I hope you've done the things I want to accomplish by now. I've been always adding one after another in my bucket list.
I hope you have softer hair. I hope you care more about your hair health because I'm really trying to do it better.
I hope you're still wearing the "me" way, the not-so-in-but-forgivable fashion. I love wearing my way than blending in. I hope you remember well.
I hope you are still me. I hope you've got better smiles after wearing braces but I hope it were as genuine as mine.
I hope you still sing in Church like I as always see you. I hope you still know why you love doing it. Stay with those people in the church, they are my family.
I hope the friends I'm keeping are still be there to see how you grow and explore the world, don't let them go. I have those special people around me now, don't get surprised that some were not there, they are pursuing their dream as well, ring them from time to time, talk about life, laugh about it. Again, don't let them go.
I have here young lads, be sure to still guide them even they seem to be old enough, they might miss the ranting and discussions sometimes. They are wonderful.
I hope you hand Lola the best bag that suits her.
I hope you taught my young cousin of the things I promised Tita.
I hoped you had your book first book launch at least. You should have done it, please.
I hope you have brought my younger sisters (well, they're older) to the place we've been dying to see and spend a lot of dates together before they wed. I want them to see the world as how passionate I am to be part of an obra maestra. Be sure to see them in good life with a good man beside them. Don't let them get hurt or if they got hurt, be there in their healing and starting over steps. Love them more and more.
I hope you never forgot to buy Papa his own mountain bike, his personal one. I hope you still buy him ice creams in dates or let him buy you one. Never forget to enjoy those precious little things because I count you for this. Be sure to excite him with your joined in projects like the wooden table we're planning right now. I hope you've got better ideas. Love him more and more.
I hope you bought Mama a baking oven, a new washing machine, a new tv, a new cabinet and everything. Everything she needs. Everything she wants. She deserves it, really. She looks so good in dresses, buy her more clothes. Give her a good capital for a business she wants. She is outstanding business woman, she got it in her blood. Compliment her. Be there. Love her more and more.
I hope you have given my parents a home to stay until they get older and older together. I have given you the design and layout. Don't you dare forget that one.
These people are those who stood by me and never run out of reason to believe in me. They matter to me and I know deep in your heart it is true. They are my very reason to keep going. Make them proud. Make them see the fruit of their trust.
This is unnecessary but let me say something about him. Yes, him. You might know him by now if he happened to knock at your heart. I don't have a clue of how he might look like, I can't warn you but as I said, If he happened to be there knocking outside your heart and he loved your God more than you, if he knows how to wait you like what real waiting is, if he makes you happy.......
If he makes you happy, don't waste the chance of having someone to grow old with and a family that I have been looking forward to,too. Love him in your best. Serve him. Be the best wife ever. Be the best mom. Start your new journey. Start your journey, this time not alone. I bet you look more beautiful that way.
And if that never happened, I'm still proud of what you will become. Who says you won't be complete. Who says you have to. Who says you are not beautiful. Oh.You.are.so.wonderful.
Above all this, you are still a daughter of a mighty King, a princess, in case you wonder why you live this way. You are His treasured possession. You mattered to Him, always and forever. Never stop thanking Him for giving you this life because I see my life worthless without Him.
I have so much to remind you. But then, I will let you figure out the rest.
Don't worry, I have packed lot of courage, lot of love and lot of hope.
