This is an attempt to wipe the tainted
A segway to redeem the literary once blighted
Giving wings to pieces pounded and scattered
To fly to a peeking light and find peace ahead
Words were meant to break and or strengthen
To scrape and or polish, to soften and or harden
There were some times, spoken to lure the hopeful
Bended and twisted to somehow cover the hole
One day, you've chosen to keep eyes closed
To every line of musing, superficial prose
Though it hurts to see, you must know how it works
That yes, words may be used by the confused to prey the virtuous
You knew better, you need not butterflies in the tummy
But the truth that has been hiding in piles of stories
How not to hear, how not to break the trust, how not to see
Only by Thy grace from Above, one forgives
Even if words formed to stanzas used to creep you in your sleep
Even if rhymes created hold backs to spoil relationships
Even if the measures suspended a supposed to be straight track
May the good Lord help us restore the reason He let everyone talk
In this world where words of men fail, strive to keep your heart rested
At peace with the Maker, consumed by His promises vested
In my heart, I believe that God created words and were given to us all
To choose and be held liable for a wasteful use or a wisely call
