Dear 'UN'heard Voice

My dear 'un'heard voice,

You have always been so courageous and strong. That is how you stood apart from all the others of your kind. You think you are weak. You think you’ll fail again. You think you’ll fall apart but no don’t be so pessimistic.There are countless moments when you have been very brave and courageous.

When your favorite doll was lost, you were brave to forget it and move on.

When your pet was gone forever, you were brave enough to hold back your sorrow.

When you were lost in the fair, you were brave even to find Mumma and get back to her.

You were brave enough to set out on a expedition with a bunch of people who hate you very much.

You were brave when the girls of your class called you a slut.

You were brave enough to get over your crush’s betrayal.

You were brave enough to question the wrongs in your life.

You were brave enough to choose your career path though the whole world criticised you for it.

When you failed for the first time ever in life, you were brave enough to get up and fight back.

You were brave enough to move out of your city in order to persuade your dreams.

When people tried calling you back to your city, you were brave enough to say ‘NO’.

When you saw your pillar of strength fall apart, you were brave enough to hold back yourself and you were courageous to hold up others who were falling apart.

Now when you need your courage the most why are you stepping back. Is it because you are fighting against your support system now? But why not think it this way, if you win here you need not depend on anyone for support, you will be your own support. I know it is hard, I know it is easy said than done but some time or the other we have to do this. You’’ have to gather all your courage and fight back this time for yourself and build a new identity. This identity should define who you are and what you want unlike the earlier which spoke of what your culture wants you to be and how it shaped you. Fight, don’t give up. It is very important for you to do this now as you have to build up a moral for yourself which you believe by yourself it shouldn’t be something forced into you. No culture, no tradition is greater than you to me, the moment you fail, I fail too. Our victories and failures, our happinesses and breakdowns are all the same. I say this as you make me and I live as you. You are me and I am you. We are the same. The only difference is that you say and I do that’s it. We can never be separated. We can’t even fall apart as we are different components of a human.We exist together. I hear you and I do as you say. The world see this me which is basically seeing the you in me. You and I are different I am visible and you are not but I guess that is not something to worry about as you make me so what they see is you I am just a means by which you are heard. I want you to be the same way that you have been so far. Be brave and be courageous as that is what we have to be.
