I said "define love"
I watched as she engrossed herself in thoughts
I mean it was a challenge wasnt it?
boosting my ego of being a writer of sort
I played her definition a thousand times in my head
Much to my despair came out her words
"Two people in rain with one umberella"
I knew the exact cliche this was going to end in
I listened with patience having the story painted exactly in my head
She went on to say
"Can you imagine someone sharing the umberella with you when the rain is pouring
The person is a stranger to you in so many ways but will still share the umberella with you so that you dont get drenched"
She went on to say the one sentence that has been haunting me ever since
"The day you find a stranger who selflessly will share their umberella for you , you are in for some trouble miss"
It was the most pure and the most hauntingly beautiful thing that i had ever heard.
