The voice of reason was locked
In their prison of power
It writhered away and died
Or so they thought
But it had escaped far
Trying to regain its meaning
In minds of those yet not turned away
From the truth in the plethora of lies
They stood up in the face of atrocity and chauvinism
Among a crowd of mute spectators
So how long can you resist a ticking time bomb
And just like that dissent can't be buried
It's essence will live long as the human civilization
