With wings, claws, feathers, and beak
She is an Eagle and not a chick
Despite how she obviously differs
She lived happily amongst roosters.
Kind chickens accepted her company
Thought she could dance in their symphony
Loved them with all her heart
But all the time they had to part.
Her being an Eagle didn't matter-
That belief, Nature had to shatter
For roosters always pick hens
The Eagle never saw it from this lens.
So away from chickens she must go
The life she knew she had to throw
Perhaps in finding eagles she would know
Why she could fly higher than a crow.
