Earrings.

It was dinner time and my mom has only prepared rice for us to eat. So I suggested that she buy some barbecue from our new neighbor. She agreed with it and said she'll be right back as soon as the barbecue has been cooked. So while waiting I watched cartoons. I looked at the clock and noticed that my mom was actually gone for almost an hour now.

So I went to where the barbecue stand was located and asked if my mom has passed by there. Our new neighbor said yes and added that mom just went to buy some drinks for us.

I asked our new neighbor if the barbecue has been cooked and I didn't got a reply instead she handed it over to me as a response.

I went home after that and because I am so starving I got a small chunk of the barbecue. It was really delicious and made me want more. So I got another one and inside my mouth I felt something sharp.

I spit it out and saw an earring. Mom's earring. I was shocked and thought that it must have fell when she went there. So again I waited for mom and fifteen minutes have gone by and still no sign of her.

Then I heard a knock outside our front door. When I opened the door, there was no one there. But I saw a box. Beside the box was two bottles of soda and a note saying thank you for waiting for your drinks.

Then I opened the box, I got frightened on what I saw. It was mom's head. Because of shock I tripped over the bottle of soda and it was blood.
