Endings

Info

Sunrise broke from a glass of chai
As kaka rose to fill in his flower pots with tears,
I saw you approaching towards me in glasses
Swooping feet dust rising in the rear.
Nothing like that happens in the real.
Your glasses always  seemed like the mirrors of my insecurity
Your voice trying to break the hustling wind in all its power
I see the glitch of time
In us as the moment breaks with the sun "Dawn is yet to go but the departure shall come "
Because nothing stays
Nor will kaka's flower survive the tears of rain
In a few days your story will become those flowers too.
And wilt out of me"No future here!
Endings are near."
As kaka says, shifting his scintillating eyes from his flowers to us.
I am sure he is true.

So I cut through the tracks of your stories and shift the engines of my day's train
At the animals ,
"Will you see the rabbits?"
I know you won't deny
Similar likings don't die!

But the rabbits were dead!

End first approached through them
Then in a dying battery of the phone
Then through empty beer bottles we once shared,
Then through a glass that broke.
Spilled water on my top that I wore.
Lipsticks I cleaned after 4 days  and sweared never to wear
A Hole in my heart
That is now hard to bear.
and then there were realizations ,
Endings felt like pain.
Pain who really  is a hopeless romantic, now weighs everything through loss and gain.
Sometimes in form of  bedridden lies
Away from others ,breaking all the ties.As rapid as it could be
A maze of unfixed hollow feelings
Moving through a gradual process of healing.

And then things go back to normal
Another day rises through cracks in my room
I wake up while the sky takes time to lick its wounds.
Kaka's flowers died,unheard.
I sigh and let loose my untamed curls.

You are no where to be found
And that's fine
The plains have new rabbits
And they're alive.

Today kaka stands looking a little pale ,planting a new flower
Into his fading nursery
While it drizzles he shouts and calls me out "Aye sad lady won't you compose some rhymes
It's been quite a while."
I smile,
Decide to go back inside to
Make myself a glass of chai
And to wrap up endings again through rhymes.
