Feeling so Lost?

I go back and forth to places I feel I was locked in. Every day was a routine. Nothing’s new, nothing’s changed. I am in this point in life where I feel so lost. Have you also felt that? That time when you want to find the purpose of your life. That time when you want to know what you really desire out of life.

When I was in school, my big goal was to finish my studies and have a decent job. When I have already achieved my goal, I do not know what’s next. The first year I was working, I am happy because the experiences are very new to me. Then on the following years, I woke up in the morning knowing that the day will be no difference to yesterday. I work but why do I feel I don’t accomplish anything? Why do I feel there is something missing in me? Why do I feel so lost in life?

I am now in a journey of finding myself. A journey where I am looking not just for what I am meant to be but also those dreams forgotten in time. I want to be brave and face this world of risks and possibilities. I want to know my real purpose – my calling. And maybe… if I found it, life will make sense again.
