Friendship to love

First day of college. Every student was excited about the new journey to start.
Payal is a girl with a good score,  and high dreams but is also excited to find someone to love.
On the other side Sammy, has no dreams but is loving, cheerful, and friendly but bully for bad guys. They eventually started talking during a class they take together.
They eventually started hanging out together a lot. Now and then they were found together.
For two months it went the same but soon Payal started realizing his importance in her life. They used to chat and talk on calls all night but Payal started giving late replies not responding to calls.
Payal was afraid everything will get spoiled if she fall in love with Sammy but she was in love. Sammy got impatient and restless about to know why Payal was ignoring her.
Monika, Payal's best friend saw her crying in the restroom. Payal vents out everything going on in her head. Monika was really happy and also worried about what if Sammy said no to her. Then after thinking a lot about it Monika called both of them to her house to talk about it but told them she had arranged a surprise for Sammy's birthday party.
When they both came to Monika's house they were shocked to see each other. Sammy runs to Payal and asked her what is his fault that she is not talking to him. Then Payal told him everything but she was crying. Sammy was listening to her with no expression on his face. He was looking at her patiently.
He interrupted Payal from speaking further. He came close to her told her to be quiet for a while, wiped her tears, and hugged her.
He just told her "I got you, I got my gift for life". Payal was still thinking that she was maybe in her dreams but all that happened.
Monika also joined them after they finished. She was really happy about making a lovely couple of pens for real.
