A couple enters inside a department store. The girl took a dress and tried it on. She asked her boyfriend if the dress looks great on her.

"How do I look?" she asked then turned around to give her boyfriend a good look. "Tell me honestly." she added.

And here, the boyfriend started to sweat cold. 'She said that I should answer honestly, right?' he thought.

So he answered honestly.

And that's where the girlfriend started the 'Don't talk with boyfriend until he doesn't realize his fault' game and left him.

And being the typical boyfriend, he put both of his hands to his face before going after her and shouted the phrase,

"Girls are so complicated!"

Another example is this girl who was asked by his long time crush to go at the back of school.

"What do you want from me?" she asked coldly. Hiding the nervousness in her voice.

"I just wanna tell you that I like you." he said while rubbing the back of his neck.

And being the hopeless romantic girl that she is, she felt really happy. She thought that maybe this really is just a dream.

Because why would a guy like that like her?

She's nothing special. She is actually too plain.

Being insecure and having self problems, she laughed. 'This is probably just a lie. He must be having a bet with his friends.' she tought.

"Don't joke with me. I know you don't." she said as she left him.

After a month, she still likes him though. But its not the same for him. He moved on because he doesn't know that she was just afraid.

As she saw him holding hands with someone else, she said the words,

"I really am complicated."

Yes. We, girls, are really complicated. When we say yes, we actually mean no. And if we say no, we actually mean yes.

Seriously? What is with us, girls? Why do we complicate things that are more beautiful in its simplest form?

Sometimes, even though I'm a girl myself, I find myself being deep in thoughts of why are girls like this.

And do you know what answer always comes out?

Its because we want someone to tell us that we are perfect in their eyes. That even though we know that we look like shit, he will say that you're the most beautiful girl in the world.

Its because we girls are afraid. We are afraid to voice out what we really feel because doing so would give the guy the privilege to hurt us.

We don't want them to think that we couldn't live without them even though that is the sole truth. We don't want them thinking that we are just some kind of a toy that you throw away after playing with.

Because I think, I get guys.

They want challenge. They don't stick with someone they easily get. They want someone that can make them feel that they are nothing special.

They want a good game.

So I came up with an idea that being complicated can't be removed from girls.

Because I know that even though I always hear guys complain,

I know that they secretly like it.
